I have now completed my 14th google search on "what metal should a metal smith use if they care about the environment?". I have also tried "Eco-Friendly metals" - "Best Metal Mining Practices" - & "which metal is the greenest?". But of course the answer to my question depends on who is talking. I just cannot find a definitive answer.
